Oracle Query is what? Select firstName from Customers where firstName like 'Sar%'; The above takes about 7-9 Times More Time to get any results on Our UV QUAD PROCESSOR MACHINE. Please post your PICK/BASIC Statement. Also you might want to dump the data in a separate table... other than something you use for other things.
