No, all my radios are protected in RF-Armor. My climber said it fell apart
in his hand while unscrewing to replace the radio. I've had this happen to
me too. I figure the climber who installed it tightened them way too much
or maybe they're just getting old (some of these pigtails are going on a
decade)!
