I'm not sure I'm willing to investigate the problem with local printing.
I never print locally, since this system is a server (specifically for
this printer and some data). I've invested enough time in this issue
already, sorry.

As for the kernel packages, I don't have linux-386 installed. I made an
assumption that apt-get dist upgrade would get every new package.
Obviously that wasn't the case here. Should I open a new bug report for
that? I can see if one of my Windows systems can get a Breezy virtual
machine in VMware running to test an upgrade to Dapper...
