Hello, again!

Well, I'm frustrated, so I played around with the Rhythmbox to see if I
could learn anything. I don't know if this is a clue or not, but I went
to the "Applications" place at the bottom of the list called "Ubuntu
Software Centre" and found Rhythmbox.

It said Rhythmbox 12.5 was already installed, and I thought about
clicking on "Remove" but I didn't see how that would improve anything,
I'd just have to try to figure out how to install it again. Then, after
reading the phrase several times, uncomprehendingly, I began to wonder
if the following could be a clue, and telling me something specific, not
just making a general statement:

"You need the python-coherence package for DLNA/UPnp sharing plugin."

I have no idea what that means, but someone I was asking about this
tonight said that the hardware is probably not the problem and the
software seems fine, but that the driver is what connects the two, and
obviously that part seems to have vanished when I upgraded. So I
wondered if this comment on the information about Rhythmbox might be
related to that? Is there some way I can "get" the "python-coherence
package for DLNA/UPnp sharing plulgin?"

Still not giving up!

Doris
