We should make sure that it's not possible for ordinary users to
accidentally install Samba 4 instead of Samba 3.
However, the "samba" package (without any numbers appended) is
definitely Samba 3, not Samba 4; the name of the package against which
this bug is reported is also "samba4". If I search for "samba" in the
software center I also only get the listing for Samba 3 (Samba 4 is
hidden under "technical items").
How did you install samba 4?
