Wait... THIS might be why I had installed samba4 in the first place (I
just uninstalled and purged samba and samba4 to demonstrate this). I
must've tried typing it as a command at some point (which in turn I read
about somewhere) and followed the helpful hint Ubuntu gave:
$ samba
The program 'samba' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install samba4
