I think I found the fix upstream: in xhci-ring.c there is a line saying: > /* FIXME allocate more room */
Followed by the error and a return of -ENOMEM. In this commit: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git;a=commit;h=8dfec6140fc617b932cf9a09ba46d0ee3f3a7d87 - Andiry Xu implements a ring expansion algorithm to allow larger data chunks on the ring by attempting to expand it first before throwing out the -ENOMEM. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/883646 Title: "ERROR no room on ep ring" fills up syslog and hard disk in minutes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/883646/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
