"It would be great to have Kimchi and Ginger updated on Ubuntu repositories. But after so many tries (from Fred and Lucio) and no Debian developer willing to sponsor the package update on Debian community, we gave up on that as the development team reduced a lot due IBM strategy changes. If some of you want to sponsor that update on Debian community, I am more than happy to keep it going. Otherwise, I agree it is better to remove the package than have them broken there."
