let us try to remove oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms. sudo dpkg -P oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms; then reboot, check if snd_hda_intel is loaded (lsmod | grep snd_hda_intel), if not, run modinfo snd_hda_intel, make sure "the filename: /lib/modules/3.13.0-167-generic/kernel/sound/pci/hda/snd-hda-intel.ko" shows rather than "filename: /lib/modules/3.13.0-167-generic/updates/dkms/snd-hda-intel.ko"
