Yes. I have the sound back again. The "Speakers" is showing in sound
settings.

I did what was suggested by Hui Wang, above:

removed oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms
then
sudo dpkg -P oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms
then
reboot
and checked if snd_hda_intel is loaded (lsmod | grep snd_hda_intel)

me@me-Inspiron-15-3552:~$ lsmod | grep snd_hda_intel
snd_hda_intel 56611 3
snd_hda_codec 193017 2 snd_hda_codec_realtek,snd_hda_intel
snd_pcm 102158 2 snd_hda_codec,snd_hda_intel
snd_page_alloc 18710 2 snd_pcm,snd_hda_intel
snd 69416 16
snd_hda_codec_realtek,snd_hwdep,snd_timer,snd_pcm,snd_seq,snd_rawmidi,snd_hda_codec,snd_hda_intel,snd_seq_device,snd_seq_midi

checked the sound and sound settings
it is working!

Thanks a lot
