As for the GRUB, as I was saying, I modify anything in this file, a simple line with # in front, or anything else simple, I update and TOUCHPAD works for me almost always ... Paranormal phenomena? :-). Let's hope someone enlightens us. In the meantime, and if I want to use TOUCHPAD, I have to do what I have said or work in a session with Windows.
