I checked if O3->O2 alone would also fix the issue - it does.

Before the debugging refused to be nice, even with debuginfod fetching all the 
symbols it was not generating helpful stack traces. Now that we can build and 
trigger from local git it might be worth a try.
If it can be found, try that.
If it refuses still, change it to use O2 globally.
