I have this issue on a laptop. Booting on the 160 kernel leads to a black screen Selecting advanced settings at the Grub menu, and advanced settings for 160 loads the menu and if I select "Resume Boot" and can boot to a working screen (though my HDMI out doesn't work)
Booting to the 157 kernel - both screen and HDMI output work fine. Thanks folks! If there are other diagnostics I can try to do them ** Attachment added: "System Info for affected laptop" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2128729/+attachment/5920070/+files/SystemInfo.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2128729 Title: Kernel 5.15.0-160 boots without any video output (on AMD) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2128729/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
