Hi, thanks for opening a bug report! To confirm this is a regression in the kernel, could you try installing and switching to the 6.8.0 LTS kernel? The package is `linux-generic`.
The dmesg log that was collected by apport only included the last chunk of the log. If you can reproduce the issue shortly after booting and collect that dmesg log, that may be a more complete picture of the problem. There are some bugs which were fixed for this driver recently, but they manifest with some dmesg output from the kernel, so it could indicate your problem is related if we see such dmesg output. You can also directly check if this is already fixed upstream by building the latest kernel tree. For wireless drivers, the latest fixes will be at https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/wireless/wireless-next.git/ We have instructions for building your own mainline kernel at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild If it's not fixed upstream, I may end up referring you to the upstream maintainers for further support, since we don't maintain that driver ourselves and wouldn't have the expertise nor hardware to debug the problem. ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: linux-hwe-6.14 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Ian Whitfield (ijwhitfield) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2137456 Title: rtw89_8852ce: Bluetooth audio lagging/shuttering To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-6.14/+bug/2137456/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
