Your kernel was updated recently too, and the Nouveau driver is half in the kernel and half in Mesa. Nouveau is frequently buggy and it seems unlikely that's going to improve for older GPU models like the GT 220.
For the best support of a GT 220 you will need the Nvidia 340 driver. But the Nvidia 340 driver was only available in Ubuntu versions up to Ubuntu 22.04. On top of that, kernel updates in 22.04.x releases likely implicitly dropped support for Nvidia-340 over time. So to have a fully supported system with an official Nvidia driver, I recommend you use Ubuntu 22.04 - the original release and not any later point release. That should keep the kernel at a level where the Nvidia-340 driver keeps working indefinitely. https://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/jammy/ubuntu-22.04-desktop- amd64.iso ** Tags added: regression-update -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2141469 Title: [nouveau] Issues with Blender after updating to the last version of Mesa To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mesa/+bug/2141469/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
