The command

Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.TimedOut: Failed to activate service
'org.freedesktop.portal.Desktop': timed out (service_start_timeout=120000ms)
took some time to run, but it was 22:38 when started & it responded and
still said 22:38 on clock; so 'some time' was only seconds.
