Well I was very excited to install the new updates today to finally get this issue resolved on my system, however I must unfortunately report that I am still having stuttering issues even after installing the latest kernel updates. It is definitely noticeably better, but I am still having intermittent stuttering, maybe slightly less frequently and the stutters seem to be shorter in duration, but they are definitely still occurring for me.
I am running Linux 7.0.0-22-generic.
