So is 7.0.0.22 based on the original kernel that shipped, but now with
all the mitigations for "Dirty Frag" and the like? I would have thought
it would be re-based to the v7.0.3 main-line kernel or higher.

Bearing in mind the rate of CVEs that have been published over the last
three weeks, I would imagine the goalposts are constantly shifting. It
would be make any kernel testing extremely difficult.
