This part of your rant wasn’t directed at me, but I’m replying anyway because it applies to my situation too. I once submitted a patch for a Plasma bug, and for months I found myself caught in an endless loop of developers giving me vague and misleading instructions, even pointing me towards files that had little to do with the problem. The experience was so frustrating that I decided never to try it again.
