2880X1620 makes more sense because that's just the logical resolution of 3840x2160 at 1.333333x scaling. And drminfo2.txt shows just that - the driver is still in native mode 3840x2160 with no black bars or offsetting. So it looks like everything is behaving correctly at the kernel level.
Do you still experience "the graphics on the 2nd screen is displayed on about 1/4 of the monitor. The rest is black"?
