Wow, that was fun ... NOT Changed it to 2560x1440 and it did not work. However, looked at the drminfo file and saw that the refresh rate listed was 59.95, not what it defaulted to which is 59.96. Changed it and it worked! I so appreciate the help. My eyes are not what they used to be. Maybe all those years as a techie.
As a closing comment, is there any way to turn off all of the fake options? I am sure this would be very confusing to anyone less technical. BTW, I can't use scaling as KVM Remote Viewer uses the scaling and it messes up the KVM display. But that is a different issue :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2162070 Title: Fake modes are not centered/scaled correctly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2162070/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
