Hello,

I discover this thread a bit late in the process. I wanted to upload the
delta to debian to make future syncs easier. I have a question about the
changes:

> Strip -march=x86-64-v3 and explicitly append -march=x86-64 to
CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS in debian/rules so that the toolchain's default
x86-64-v3 architecture does not leak AVX2 into multi-ISA static
      libraries (libembree_sse42.a, libembree_avx.a).
That seems to resolve the FTBFS.

> Add always-instantiate-bvh4.patch to instantiate BVHN<4> and
      BVHNStatistics<4> templates unconditionally in kernels/bvh/.
What is that for? Asking my good friend AI, it tells me that I should probably
not include this.
