I thought this bug only affects people who upgraded from older Ubuntu versions but yesterday I installed 8.04 desktop on a brand new computer and the bug is there...
Can I somehow help with getting it fixed? Until it's fixed: Is there ANY WAY AT ALL to have working keyboard layout indicator in Ubuntu panel and switch layouts by clicking on this indicator? I install computers for non-geeks and they are unable to remember some sort of key-combination to switch layouts. As I mentioned on 2008-05-24, the "setxkbmap" solution doesn't work for Czech layout. Switching autologin off is also out of question because these users don't even know their passwords. -- [hardy] keyboard layout switching shortcut doesn't work after reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196277 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
