Right now I'm running openSUSE, but the following can apply to Gutsy I'm sure :-) I blacklisted the bcm43xx module and used ndiswrapper with the latest WinXP 32bit driver (bcwl5.inf and bcwl5.sys) for my card which is a model 4321. Gutsy bcm43xx model appears to works and it downloads some firmware but it is not the latest and does not support 4321. I tried getting latest fwcutter but it does not recognise the latest WinXP driver so I resorted to ndiswrapper. See http://www.suseforums.net/index.php?showtopic=39622 For the touchscreen (mine is an "eGalax" model) I found the following links and used the "Mike.Christ" xorg.conf (attached in first link below) for good calibration numbers. I wasn't able to run calibration myself, wil need another weekend's work I guess. The difference I needed to get it working was to not add the "dummy" device section and in the "ServerLayout" section I added [InputDevice "touchscreen" "SendCoreEvents"] instead of [InputDevice "touchscreen" "CorePointer"]. I copied the udev rule file also from the evtouch tar. My device is now "/dev/input/evtouch_event" which points to the right "/dev/input/event2" or whatever the eventX is with the current boot.
