Hi Shirish,
From my understanding, the main reason for no Live CD/DVD is the lack
of manpower in the Development team. We'd rather create a solid
install than spend time on building/testing/bugfixing Live CD/DVDs.
If someone with enough knowledge and dedication is willing to step up
and take charge of a Live CD/DVD section of Ubuntu Studio, then the
community would be grateful. However, it's my opinion that such a
person might be better suited helping with the current development
tasks listed here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/KarmicTaskList
(just my opinion).

As a side-note on this subject, I've recently been messing around with making bootable USB drives (using either UNetbootin or the USB Startup Disk creator found in Jaunty) and of the distro's I've tried (regular Ubuntu, 64 Studio and Ubuntu Studio) the only one that I cannot get to boot off a USB drive is Ubuntu Studio. I wonder if this is related to Ubuntu Studio not being a Live CD?
