Ok, what version of studio, and what kernel? If its 2.6.28-rt, then I am not surprised. That kernel has a lot of problems with it. Hopefully things will be better in Karmic.

Whoops, I accidentally sent that last e-mail to just Luke, and not the whole list.

Anyway, this is with Ubuntu Studio Jaunty, and the kernel was indeed 2.6.28-rt.
