Those three would be my usual suggestions, in 1-3-2 order, although I appreciate that doesn't answer the question of how to ask support questions. Why not Ubuntu-UK? If none of the above solved the query then I'd suggest joining the ubuntu-uk mailing list and give the URL to get them started, but as a place to look for an immediate answer, I don't think our website is the right place.
