You know "just back up the important stuff" is never cool with me.  I
do full stand alone backups.  (boot from alternate media and make a
full image of all drives in question)

I stuck on Suse 10.2, wiping out Ubuntu after making an image.  10.2
is too old.  I have 11 coming in the mail.  Need to see if it can
support this Toshiba notebook I should have never purchased.
