Oops, sorry to bother you again.
I am able now to start KDE again (via startx), but neither the login
nor the logout works without the shell first. I always have to fill in
the information, before KDE starts or shuts down. I tried to fix the
problem by changing the settings. Under the "advanced" tab I now have
a GRUB icon. But I don't seem to be able to fix the problem.
How can I start and halt without the shell?
