IIRC, you said you don't have an internet connection. Give us some more information. WHAT are you trying to install? Or at least, what is the file extension? .deb? Why doesn't double-clicking on it work? Do you get a message about dependancies? Or does the computer suddenly go black and shut off? ;-) Seriously, we're willing to help.
