I agree, we could for example take the 5 first names and do a second
vote with only one option.
But we should also carefully think about the relevance of the name, its
results on google, the domain name, the "communication" relevance etc.
On a French Muslim forum they don't like Arabic names because they are
not relevant, they prefer "linux muslim edition", they think, for
example, that Fajr is meaningless for end-users.

For the poll, I think next step is that we should minimize the options
and only registered people can vote, also only one option is allowed!
what do you think!

Assalam alaykom,
* When I logged in it said: Hi, أحمد المحمودي
I think it should say: as-salamu alaykom.
Done for english and it is already السلام عليكم in arabic
* At the bottom of poll results, the dates were in gregorial.
Btw,
jazak Allahu khairan for fixing the date on top right of
the pages.
I managed to make the date for the Articles in Hijri, but not the
polls date :-/ am on it...
* The link for "new name poll" on the frontpage needs to be
highlighted somehow, since this is an important decision (I
think).
I did put it in a menu alone!
For the Arabic web site, in the menu, it is written:
ابونوتو
(ubunutu!!!)
but it should be أوبنتو
BTW: The web site is note translated yet into Arabic, there is
no one to do it? the most part is translated but in the old one...
changed it to ابونتو and I think brother Osama is translating it
to Arabic now!
Jazak Allah kheir, ya Fadi
It is excellent. Well done.
Thanks borther :)
jazakom allah kaeran jamee3an.
wassalam
