You don't need need ActiveX for most public web sites now-a-days. Support at least Flash on Firefox 2.0.0.7, and you've got a good bit of the public web sites covered. The basic Solaris Express, etc would not include all of these, so you'll have to do some with with integrating the plugins. -- Sriram
