Once again, the main issue is not what uniform the killers are putting on, it
is that they are killers. I think there are more reasons to convince me that
most of the killings are being done by the rebels not the government forces. It
is our collective condemnation of these killings that may force both parties to
come to the negotiating table. A condemnation of the rebels by UPC, a section
of which you Matekopolo represents, will come in handy in here.

Chief:

The UPC's position has been clear right from the on set. We as a party are opposed to politics of the GUN.

The NRM, on the other hand, strongly believes in this politics of the GUN. They have exercise or engaged in GUN politics right from Luwero, into Karamojaland, Tesoland, Northern Uganda, Eastern DRC, Rwanda, Burundi, The Sudan... perhaps even Kenya.

KONNY (or who ever he is) with his Rebel group are but one of the creations of dictator Yoweri Kaguta Museveni...... as is PRA, ADF, e.t.c.

That wars continue to be fought in our beloved country is but a reflection of the NRM's bankrupt policies.

It is the NRM which should  address the mess they have help create in Uganda.

Peace.

Matek
