If youre just waking up, be informed that we had a very strange night where
a block party happened in the East End, Lawrence and Morning side avenue,
the street is actually being defined on Police Radio as Danzing street.
About two hundred people attended a party and just before midnight a major
gun fight broke out and a teenage age girl with a male were killed at site.
We have figures by preliminary reports of 19 people shot so far, we do not
know the situations of those shot, but we know for sure 19 people have been
taken to trauma centers in various hospitals in town due to gun shots, and
two are confirmed dead so far. Among those that took bullets is an infant.
It is 5am so more details will pop up as various sources start to wake up
and communicate. Do not go Lawrence and Morningside every corridor is closed
off.
And to repeat Chief Blairs words, No Toronto is not a battle ground.
