BTW you can use the JIRA "Bulk Change" feature to update many issues at once. Just do a search for all your closed/resolved issues that have no "fix version", then click the "bulk change" link. You can reopen all the issues, then close them all again assigning the correct fix version. However this loses the setting of the "resolution" field which is annoying. -Adam
