This makes no sense. Starting with version 4.0, we create a 4G FAT32 partition. How could you have a 2G NTFS partition? > Choose partitioning scheme. > > 1) Do nothing (continue) > 2) Run partitioning tool manually (experts only) > 3) Whole disk C: > 4) 4G C:, rest D: > 5) 12G C:, 5G D:, rest E: > X) Exit this program > Select: [12345X] 3 > > ABOUT TO PARTITION THE FIRST HARD DRIVE! > WARNING: This operation erases the disk! > Are you sure [YN] Y > Making device /dev/hda > Making device /dev/hda1 > Installing /usr/lib/freedos-mbr.bin as MBR...done. > Creating c:\netinst...done. > Creating c:\netinst\logs...done. > Scanning for OS directories under Z:\os... > Please choose the OS to install: > > > * reboot (note the explicit selection of "3" above, to use the > whole disk as C:) > * Now I again say "N" to the partitioning prompt: > > ABOUT TO PARTITION THE FIRST HARD DRIVE! > WARNING: This operation erases the disk! > Are you sure [YN] N Wait a minute. The default configuration prints the partition table BEFORE it tries to partition the drive. Have you modified install.pl, or added something strange to Z:\site\config.pl or ...\unattend.txt? > Current partition table: > > Disk geometry for /dev/hda: 0.000-152627.835 megabytes > Disk label type: msdos > Minor Start End Type Filesystem Flags > 1 0.031 4000.561 primary ntfs boot Again with the NTFS partition. That is just wrong. > * Now it is 4G (as I had thought it ought to be from the start) > * indeed, the install works properly from this point on.
