It still doesn't work when default is set to load undis.img.  I also tested
it on a real computer and still got the error.

Here is the line in default:

append initrd=undis.img keeppxe

It may be of note that I had to replace pxelinux.0 with a different version,
but control was handed over by the time I get the error,

Somewhere I saw something about making sure dhcp had dhcp-rebinding-time and
dhcp-renewal-time in the config file, but I have yet to do that.
