Please excuse my nitpicking . . .

I strongly endorse this statement by Patrick:

But I think this statement is incorrect:

The relevent line is:
"only expression is protected, not facts or ideas."

That's why people say that lists are not generally copyrightable.  The way I understand
it, if list items are expressive (if it is possible to restate them in your own words)
then the list is copyrightable.  Probably not the case for a .reg.
