I still can't figure out why you are having so much problems with
Win2K and Office.

Windows2K is now on limited support from Microsoft.

Another other option is to copy the i386 directory from Win2K SP4 to C:
then point Win2K to the local C:\i386 directory.

Watch for line wrap below:

:: Update the windows registry so Windows knows where to find the i386 source
files
reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup /v SourcePath /t
REG_SZ /d C:\ /f > NUL
reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup /v
ServicePackSourcePath /t REG_SZ /d C:\ /f > NUL
reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup /v "Installation
Sources" /t REG_MULTI_SZ /d C:\i386 /f > NUL
reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Setup /v SourcePath /t
REG_SZ /d C:\i386 /f > NUL

Win2K doesn't come with the reg command. So you will need to download it
from the web.

Let me know how this go! Once you get unattended going you will wonder
how you could get along without it.

Thanks
