Russ,
We have the same boat. Been living aboard for 3 years. From carpet to capital
gears, from boot strip color to dingy cranes; I have worked on it. Great boat.
Glad to discuss any thoughts you may have on the boat, price etc.
Feel free to email me and we can trade contact info and we can talk on the
phone.
I am in san diego.
Welcome to the "club".

Russ,

The blisters were removed removed by a yard prior to my purchasing my 46.  The
cost in 2005 was $ 19,000.00. The did a great job including all the barrier
coats prior to painting.  I am into traveling in my motorhome and am selling my
46 because I am not using it as when I bought it. We spent 2 summers traveling
from Mass. to Va. It also has just under 400 hrs since a complete top end
rebuild on the 6-71 TI's 410's.

Good luck with whatever you do.  Its a great cruising and liveabord.

I am new to this group.  About to buy 46' and sell current cutter.
What is the word re Uniflite's problems with glass lay up re the
blistering. I have heard it was due to fire retardant added to
resins.  Anything I need to look out for before I purchase this
boat??? Also is there a way to protect the props. They seem (for a
sail boater) to hanging out in the breese re a grounding. The props I
think would hit first and cost big $$$ to repair. Can I add depth to
the keel or something to fix that. Am I worrying about nothing, Also I
assume that you all feel that Uniflite made as good if not a better
boat than Pacemaker.

Thanks Russ Davignon
