Thanks, Where is your boat?? Who has the listing?

Being an owner, what is the deal re the props hitting during a grounding??
Does the keel protect them at all??      Thanks Russ

Russ,

The blisters were removed removed by a yard prior to my purchasing my 46.  The
cost in 2005 was $ 19,000.00. The did a great job including all the barrier
coats prior to painting.  I am into traveling in my motorhome and am selling my
46 because I am not using it as when I bought it. We spent 2 summers traveling
from Mass. to Va. It also has just under 400 hrs since a complete top end
rebuild on the 6-71 TI's 410's.

Good luck with whatever you do.  Its a great cruising and liveabord.

I am new to this group.  About to buy 46' and sell current cutter.
What is the word re Uniflite's problems with glass lay up re the
blistering. I have heard it was due to fire retardant added to
resins.  Anything I need to look out for before I purchase this
boat??? Also is there a way to protect the props. They seem (for a
sail boater) to hanging out in the breese re a grounding. The props I
think would hit first and cost big $$$ to repair. Can I add depth to
the keel or something to fix that. Am I worrying about nothing, Also I
assume that you all feel that Uniflite made as good if not a better
boat than Pacemaker.

Thanks Russ Davignon
