there are quite a few people on the bayliner website that use the
honda 2000i....i personally own one as a back up for the kohler that
is in my uniflite....i had a cord made up to run from the honda to the
shore power inlet...they are VERY quiet and can run for 8 hrs on a
single fill up...should be able to power up your battery charger and
keep the batteries topped off...wont run my electric stove

my kohler (honda engine) needed some carb work and fuel filters
changed and a aux fuel pump added to the fuel line...i found that by
NOT running the genny for long periods of time it would get enough air
in the fuel line that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to re start and i burned
up a $300 starter proving this...so i cleaned the carb and added a
fuel pump to the line...starts everytime now (KNOCK ON WOOD)

i like to run the kohler for a few hours at a time to keep the fuel
fresh and keep it loose and ready to go when i do need it
