Nothing in boating is cheap. :)  I have to replace one of the water tanks in my 
aft cabin because the hose nipple snapped off while I was in the San Juan's 
last week.  No idea where to get a custom size tank locally either.

there is a shop still in Portland if you can not find anything in the Seattle

If you do not have a local chopper shop then see if you have a local
machine shop.  They should also know where to go.
