as a general rule, its not good to use diesel oils in gas engines due to the 
higher detergents used in them... if your engine is old and has a lot of 
deposits inside, all that will come loose and circulate in the oil possibly 
clogging your oil filter faster and simply slinging more junk inside your 
engine that had happily found a resting spot for years now...
kind of similar to early car engines that were designed prior to detergent oils 
and only had internal slingers to remove the particles from oils... when people 
would run them years latter with detergent oils, all the slinger passages would 
clog full of sludge and the engines would seize due to lack of lubrication...
