Hey All, I have a weird issue going on. My Detroit's run like a top. I put the block heaters on for about 30 min and they fire right up. They run smooth underway as well. The port side engine is acting up though when I pull into the slip. When I am at no wake speed coming into the harbor, she moves right along. The first time that I toss the port drive in reverse to maneuver into my slip it will die. It then will NOT fire back up. So I end up coming back into the slip on one engine. I am not good at this. It takes a fun day trip and ends it on a stressful note. When I try to restart the engine, it BARELY turns over, if at all. If I come out the next morning, it fires right back up fine. I have had my starter battery tested and it is fine. My voltmeters are showing that the alternators are charging just fine as well. Anyone have any ideas? I could use some ideas.
