Ross,

I have a 42' with twin cummins which develope 325HP at 3000rpm. This boat
was re propped by a former Uniflite guy at the Padden Creek Marine yard in
1990 when it was repowered. Since buying the boat in 1995 I had been told
by 2 different prop experts ( the best 2 in Seattle I was told) that their
computer model said I had the wrong prop. I am told I have a 24"X 20 4
blade cut down to 22". All I can tell you is that I had a new set made, put
on, and then taken right off since my performance got significantly worse.
I know this isn't much help but I guess I am saying that not all experts
are as expert as they claim. I think it is good to do lots of research and
pick your prop guy like you might pick a brain surgeon. They all are not
the same. Not sure what your choices might be in Jakarta.

By the way Ross, you gave me great advice regarding a problem I was having
with my Cummins (dieseling) . I never fully thanked you for it..........
