I didn't try Michwheel. I agree each boat is different due to weight, hull length, transmission gearing and engine. It was interesting. So I listened to the experts and agreed to buy new props if my performance was improved. They put on the new 24" props and my engines couldn't get to 3000 rpm. and my top end speed was 2 mph slower. The cruise speed of 17knt (usually @ 2600 rpm was 2 knots less at the same rpm). Also I already idle at about 4 knts and that went to over 5 knts. I guess if I wanted to go 5 knts everywhere it would be a good deal.
Also I have had a chance to talk to lots of 42' owners and no one beats my speed/cost. The good ones equal my performance so I am sticking to what I have.
