I apologize.  My comment was not meant as a slur to all landlords.  It was 
probably a reaction to my most recent experience with a landlord on our 
block.  When I mentioned the trash situation out front his rental property, 
he pointedly told me that it was the tenants' problem/responsibility, not 
his.  I am aware that there are good landlords in University City, and as 
elsewhere, problematic ones.
