while i don't have an opinion on board members recursing themselves, i 
do think everyone has an interest, whether you have a child, dog, cat, 
squirrel, goldfish, etc.  it's a community park and we all should have a 
say in how it's used.

i agree with bruce.  it would be great if we could keep this discussion 
from becoming personal, as seems to be the case for many discussions in 
the hood.  at the end of the day we're still all neighbors.  if we can't 
work out these local issues amongst ourselves without personal attacks, 
how can we ever expect our country to work out issues in a reasonable way.

hopefully mr roger's hood can be in disagreement without disenfranchisement,

By that yardstick, no one with any interest in the matter should be 
involved with the actual decision.

Heck, that'd be me. I have no dogs and no kids.
