Hear, hear! If the name of this new forum is as Al Krigman wrote, that says it all.
This is the by-product mentality of people who are used to arranging their communities as they see fit, (i.e. suburban-type developments with all the amenities in place.) NOW, all we have to do is find the ³right kind of people² to share in ³our little corner of Heaven.² This is a city! You will find ALL types of people in cities and one should not feel threatened when their statements or opinions shatter the illusions of how YOU may have thought life and the world was like for everybody. THEN to cap it off hide behind this, ³Aren¹t I a wonderful person because I choose to live in such a diverse community!² façade. That in particular is galling.
